This summer, Avatar fans got big news.
You may have seen Avatar: a young boy who can control air, water, earth, and fire to save the whole world.
In this story, each generation has only one person with this power, and everyone calls him the Avatar.
The Avatar has always been the hero, the one who comes to save everyone.
But the new story, Avatar: Seven Havens, flips this completely.
The new Avatar is a girl who controls earth, named Pavi.
Her world is no longer the one we're familiar with.
Long ago, a great disaster struck; the whole world shattered, leaving only seven places where people can still live.
In this kind of world, people don't see the Avatar as a hero — they find her terrifying.
Many say: the Avatar isn't here to save the world, she's here to destroy it.
So wherever Pavi goes, people want to catch her.
What's worse, Pavi doesn't even know who she is or where she came from.
She only knows that as a child she had a twin sister, who later got lost.
