从街头卖唱到奥斯卡：爱尔兰音乐人 Glen Hansard 车祸去世，享年56

Its song "Falling Slowly" was simple yet moving, bringing countless people to tears.

就是这首歌，为他赢得了电影界最高的荣誉，也就是奥斯卡最佳原创歌曲奖。

It was this song that won him film's highest honor, the Academy Award for Best Original Song.

在很多人心里，Glen 是一个很好的歌手，也是一个特别温暖、特别慷慨的人。

To many, Glen was a wonderful singer, and also an especially warm, generous person.

可是七月二十九号，坏消息传来：在都柏林，他骑摩托车时出了车祸，不幸去世，年仅五十六岁。

But on July 29th, sad news came: in Dublin, he was killed in a motorcycle crash, only fifty-six.

消息一出，很多音乐人都很悲痛。

As the news broke, many musicians were stricken with grief.

连 Bruce Springsteen 都说，自己听到后"心都碎了"，觉得失去了一位好朋友。

Even Bruce Springsteen said his "heart was breaking," that he had lost a good friend.
