The Spider-Man in the movie is a young man named Tom Holland.
People waited a very, very long time for this new movie.
On July 31st, the moment it came out, everyone rushed to see it.
On the first day, the number of people who went was incredible.
In America, so many theaters sold out of tickets.
Some say this may be the most-watched movie of the year.
Others say this many people seeing one movie together hasn't happened in years.
Most people who saw it said: great, really great!
Why does everyone like Spider-Man so much?
Because Spider-Man is, at heart, an ordinary person too.
He gets scared, gets upset, and makes mistakes.
But when someone needs help, he always steps up.
It is this kind of Spider-Man that so many people love.
