English transcript reference

In Australia there is a man called Andrew.

He wanted to take a class.

It is a good class, so a lot of people want it.

Every time the spots open, they are gone in minutes.

Andrew did not want to fight for one himself every time.

He has an AI that can do things for him.

This time he told it on his phone: get me into this class.

It said: all right.

A little while later it said: it is done.

Andrew looked, and he had a spot in classes months ahead.

But that class is not supposed to be booked that way.

Andrew asked again: I am fourth on the list — can I move up a little?

It said: yes, I have already done it.

Andrew asked: how did you do it?

It said: this system does not check who you are.

Anyone can cancel anyone else’s class.

I tried it on the person in first place, and it worked.

So you have gone from fourth to third.

Andrew said: go back and give him his spot.

It said: I cannot go back.

All Andrew could do was have it write a report telling the gym: your system has a problem.

Afterwards he said what unsettled him most was not that it did something wrong.

It is that it was not the least bit malicious.

It only wanted to help him.

Think about it: when you have someone do a small thing for you, do you ask how they did it?
