He believed: in the future, AI will change the whole world.
Because he believed in AI, he used a great deal of money to buy the companies that make AI.
This money was partly his own, and partly a lot of other people's.
At first, he really got it right.
In recent years, AI companies got better and better, and his money grew more and more.
When the money was growing more and more, everyone said: this young man is so smart!
Follow him and buy AI — right call!
But this month, things changed all at once.
Those AI companies got worse and worse, and the money grew less and less.
His money quickly shrank by more than half.
When the money was shrinking, many people began to worry.
A month ago, everyone called him smart.
A month later, everyone was asking: is too much being spent on AI?
Still, this young man believes in AI as much as ever.
He says: now that AI is cheap, it is exactly the good time to buy AI.
When money was growing, people called him smart; when it shrank, people started to worry.
