Bali is an island.
A lot of people go to Bali.
One day a year in Bali, you cannot go out.
That day is called Nyepi.
On Nyepi, everybody stays at home.
No going out, no television on, no phone calls.
No planes come in, and no planes go out.
For one day, a whole island is very quiet.
This year, one person did not listen.
He went out.
He filmed a video and posted it to Instagram.
He said: this is terrible.
The people of Bali saw it.
The people of Bali were very unhappy.
They said: this day is a big thing to us.
In August, a court in Bali spoke.
The court said: you will be here for one year.
One year, and you cannot go home.
He said: I am sorry.
He said: that day I wanted to eat, I did not know.
But he did know.
Before he went out, the people at the house told him: today you cannot go out.
One island, a great many people, one day, nobody goes out.
One person went out — and he filmed it, and he posted it.
