English transcript reference

There was a person called Meg White.

She played drums, and a lot of people knew who she was.

Now, she does not play the drums.

She does not come out, and other people cannot see her.

For seventeen years, nobody saw her.

In August, a newspaper said: we have found her.

In the newspaper there were photos — a lot of photos.

More than ten photos, all of them taken.

The newspaper said: seventeen years, and there were none.

The person taking the photos saw someone.

He said to that person: are you Meg White?

That person laughed.

She said: you are wrong, I am not.

She said it, and the newspaper published it anyway.

Afterwards, someone who knows Meg White saw the photos.

She said: the person in the photos is not Meg White.

It is a friend of Meg White’s.

The newspaper stopped running the photos.

But the newspaper did not say: I am sorry.

Meg White does not want people to see her; for seventeen years she has not come out.

And now the newspaper has published photos of somebody else.

Think about it:

A person does not want to be seen by others — and that is very hard.
