Keigo Higashino Has Died; So Many People Love the Books He Wrote

很会 + verb = "is very good at (doing something)".

本 is the measure word for books: 一百多本书 = more than a hundred books.

也要 = "still want to / insist on", even against what one doesn't feel like.
