Your computer, after you use it for a while, gets hot.
AI has a great many computers, and very big ones.
These computers work, so they get hot.
Too hot, and a computer cannot work.
So what do you do?
You use water.
Water is cold.
Water brings the computers back down cool.
How much water does that take in a day?
A lot. A great deal of water.
How much water does one person drink in a day?
Not much.
And AI's computers — how much water do they use in a day?
A great deal, far too much.
In America there is a man called Jason Kelce.
A lot of people know who he is.
This year, he made an advert.
In the advert, he says to everyone:
Please, give me your pee.
I want to give all this pee to AI's computers to use.
Everyone laughed.
This is not real. Do not actually do it.
But the thing he wants to say is real:
AI's computers drink a great deal of water every day.
