Last time, Zhou Wan and Lu Xixiao met during one very hot summer.
周挽学习特别好，可是家里没有钱。
Zhou Wan is an excellent student, but her family has no money.
她的奶奶生病了，吃的药非常贵。
Her grandma is sick, and the medicine she takes is very expensive.
所以周挽教陆西骁英语，陆西骁给她钱。
So Zhou Wan teaches Lu Xixiao English, and he pays her.
周挽要这些钱，给奶奶看医生。
Zhou Wan needs this money to get her grandma to a doctor.
陆西骁家里很有钱，可是没有人爱他。
Lu Xixiao's family is rich, but no one loves him.
他的爸爸妈妈很忙，不问他的事情。
His parents are busy and don't care about his life.
每天晚上，他们两个人一起学英语。
Every evening, the two of them study English together.
可是学校不让他们在一起。
But the school won't let them be together.
所以每次见面，他们都很注意，不让老师看见。
So every time they meet, they're careful not to let the teachers see.
就这样，他们一天比一天好。
And so, day by day, they grow closer.
有一天晚上，陆西骁开摩托车，送周挽回家。
One evening, Lu Xixiao rides his motorbike to take Zhou Wan home.
周挽每天都走路回家。
Zhou Wan usually walks home every day.
那天晚上，两个人说了很多。
That night, the two of them talked a lot.
慢慢地，他们真的成了朋友。
Slowly, they truly became friends.
这一天，是他们一起学英语的最后一天。
This day was their last day studying English together.
陆西骁想让周挽很高兴。
Lu Xixiao wanted to make Zhou Wan happy.
他记得，周挽很喜欢金鱼。
He remembered that Zhou Wan loves goldfish.
所以他买了很多很多金鱼。
So he bought lots and lots of goldfish.
学校里有一个游泳池，很久没有人游泳了。
There's a swimming pool at school that no one had used in a long time.
这些金鱼，一下就都到了游泳池里。
All these goldfish went straight into the pool.
游泳池的水，一下就很漂亮了。
The pool's water suddenly turned beautiful.
周挽看到了，非常高兴。
Zhou Wan saw it and was overjoyed.
然后，两个人一起下水了。
Then the two of them got into the water together.
他们在水里，金鱼在他们旁边。
They were in the water, with goldfish all around them.
太漂亮了！
So beautiful!
两个人都很高兴。
Both of them were so happy.
水有一点冷，陆西骁不想周挽生病。
The water was a little cold, and Lu Xixiao didn't want Zhou Wan to get sick.
他找来了两件衣服，让周挽穿上。
He found two shirts and had Zhou Wan put one on.
两个人一边穿衣服，周挽一边问他：
As they changed, Zhou Wan asked him:
你为什么想一个人去外国？
Why do you want to go abroad all alone?
陆西骁说：在这里，没有人爱我。
Lu Xixiao said: here, no one loves me.
他说：我走了，也没有人难过。
He said: if I leave, no one will even be sad.
他问周挽：你想做什么？
He asked Zhou Wan: what do you want to do?
周挽说：我和你不一样。
Zhou Wan said: I'm not like you.
我没有钱，不能想很多。
I have no money, so I can't think that far.
他们两个都是十八岁，可是要想的事情太多了。
They were both only eighteen, yet had far too much to worry about.
后来，学校知道了金鱼的事情。
Later, the school found out about the goldfish.
老师很生气，说他们不对。
The teachers were angry and said they were wrong.
陆西骁马上说：这都是我做的，不是周挽。
Lu Xixiao immediately said: I did all of this, not Zhou Wan.
他一个人，说这都是他的不对。
Alone, he insisted it was all his fault.
周挽看他这样，觉得他真好。
Seeing him like this, Zhou Wan felt he was truly kind.
为了谢谢他，周挽请陆西骁吃面条。
To thank him, Zhou Wan treated Lu Xixiao to noodles.
两个人一起吃面条，都很高兴。
They ate noodles together, both happy.
可是，还有一个男生，也喜欢周挽。
But there's another boy who also likes Zhou Wan.
他看见周挽和陆西骁在一起，非常难过。
Seeing Zhou Wan together with Lu Xixiao, he was very upset.
他跑去告诉了周挽的奶奶。
He ran off and told Zhou Wan's grandma.
奶奶知道了，非常生气。
Grandma found out and was furious.
周挽回到家，奶奶很不高兴，说了她很多。
When Zhou Wan got home, grandma was upset and scolded her a lot.
周挽想要钱，是为了奶奶。
Zhou Wan wants money for her grandma's sake.
可是现在，有一点点不一样了。
But now, something has changed just a little.
这个夏天很热，也很长。
This summer is hot, and long.
周挽要的是钱，陆西骁要的是爱。
Zhou Wan wants money; Lu Xixiao wants love.
