In the story, there's a girl named Pavi.

在 Avatar 的世界里，有的人有很特别的力量，能动土、动水、也能动火。

In the world of Avatar, some people have special powers — they can move earth, water, even fire.

全世界，只有一个最特别的人，就叫 Avatar。

In the whole world, there's only one most special person, and he's called the Avatar.

很早的时候，Avatar 都是好人，帮大家，让大家过得好好的。

In the old days, Avatars were good people, helping everyone, keeping everyone safe.

Pavi，是新的 Avatar。

Pavi is the new Avatar.

可是这一次，很不一样。

But this time, it's very different.

在 Pavi 的世界里，出了一件非常大的事情。

In Pavi's world, something enormous has happened.

很多地方都坏了，很多东西都没有了。

Many places are ruined, and many things are gone.

很多人过得非常不好，心里也非常怕。

People are living very badly, and their hearts are full of fear.

很多人说：这个新的 Avatar，不是来帮我们的。

Many people say: this new Avatar isn't here to help us.

她是来把我们的世界，弄坏的。

She's here to wreck our world.

所以，很多人怕 Pavi，看见她就跑。

So many people fear Pavi, and run when they see her.

可是 Pavi 自己，也非常不好过。

But Pavi herself is having a very hard time too.

她不知道，自己到底是谁。

She doesn't know who she really is.

她小的时候，还有一个很近的家人，和她一起长大。

When she was little, she had a close family member who grew up with her.

可是那个人，很早就走散了，一直不在。

But that person got lost long ago and has been gone ever since.

现在 Pavi 一个人，一边走，一边想：我是谁？

Now Pavi walks alone, wondering: who am I?

我要做什么？

What should I do?

这个新故事，是很早以前做 Avatar 的那些人，一起做的。
