两个人住在一起，一起学习，一起吃饭。
The two of them lived together, studied together, ate together.
他们越来越好。
They grew closer and closer.

陆西骁很喜欢周挽，也很喜欢画画。
Lu Xixiao liked Zhou Wan a lot, and loved to paint.
有一天，他画了一张画，送给周挽。
One day, he painted a painting and gave it to Zhou Wan.
周挽特别喜欢这张画。
Zhou Wan especially loved this painting.
可是妈妈看见了，很不高兴。
But her mother saw it and was very unhappy.
妈妈不想让周挽和陆西骁在一起。
Her mother didn't want Zhou Wan and Lu Xixiao to be together.
为了让他们分开，妈妈当着周挽的面，把那张画撕坏了。
To pull them apart, her mother tore up that painting right in front of Zhou Wan.
周挽很难过，她坐在地上，一片一片地把画拿起来。
Zhou Wan was heartbroken; she sat on the floor and picked up the painting, piece by piece.
第二天一早，妈妈就让周挽搬出陆家。
Early the next morning, her mother made Zhou Wan move out of the Lu home.
这一天，正好是陆西骁很重要的日子。
This day happened to be a very important day for Lu Xixiao.
他要把自己的画，拿给一个大教授看。
He had to take his own paintings to show a big professor.
周挽忽然想到，妈妈可能会在他的画上做坏事。
Zhou Wan suddenly thought her mother might do something bad to his paintings.
她一找，果然发现真的画被妈妈换走了。
She searched, and sure enough found the real painting had been swapped out by her mother.
周挽没想别的，拿着真的画，一路跑去找陆西骁。
Zhou Wan thought of nothing else, grabbed the real painting, and ran all the way to find Lu Xixiao.
她在最后的时候，把画交到了他手里。
At the last moment, she put the painting into his hands.
后来，陆西骁去了一个比赛，还拿了第一。
Later, Lu Xixiao went to a competition and took first place.
他太高兴了，第一个就想告诉周挽。
He was overjoyed; the first person he wanted to tell was Zhou Wan.
可是他找到周挽的时候，一下子说不出话。
But when he found Zhou Wan, he was speechless for a moment.
周挽被几个坏人打了，头和脚都受伤了。
Zhou Wan had been beaten by some bad people; her head and foot were both injured.
陆西骁又急又难过，马上报警，还小心地照顾她。
Anxious and heartbroken, Lu Xixiao called the police at once and gently took care of her.
这些天，周挽一直瞒着他一件事，心里很不好受。
For days, Zhou Wan had been hiding one thing from him, and felt awful inside.
她终于对陆西骁说：以前，我是故意接近你的。
She finally told Lu Xixiao: before, I got close to you on purpose.
我利用了你。
I used you.
她以为，陆西骁听了一定会走。
She thought Lu Xixiao would surely leave after hearing it.
可是陆西骁没有走。
But Lu Xixiao didn't leave.
他只是看着她，很认真地说：没关系。
He just looked at her and said, earnestly: it's all right.
他说：以后不管你做什么，我都相信你，你都不用跟我说为什么。
He said: from now on, whatever you do, I trust you, and you don't have to explain to me why.
后来，陆西骁还发现，周挽一个人工作，一个人照顾生病的奶奶。
Later, Lu Xixiao also found out that Zhou Wan worked alone and cared for her sick grandma alone.
