English transcript reference

There's a movie that's been really popular lately, called Project Hail Mary.

The English name is Project Hail Mary.

It just came out on March 20, and in five days it already made close to 150 million dollars.

The reviews are also really good, 95 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

The audience score is even higher, 96 percent.

You could say it's the most successful movie so far this year.

This movie is adapted from a novel by Andy Weir.

You might have heard of his other book, The Martian.

Yeah, the one Matt Damon was in.

Project Hail Mary's story is even bolder than The Martian.

It's about a science teacher named Grace.

He wakes up on a spaceship.

He doesn't remember anything.

Doesn't know who he is.

Doesn't know where he is.

Doesn't know why he's in space.

Then slowly he starts to remember.

Turns out the sun has a big problem.

A mysterious microorganism is absorbing the sun's energy.

If it's not solved, the sun will keep getting dimmer.

Earth's temperature will keep dropping.

Eventually all of humanity will be finished.

So he was sent to space to find a solution.

But he's not alone.

In space he meets an alien creature.

This alien creature is also facing the same problem.

Their planet is also getting colder.

Two beings from different planets decide to work together.

This part is especially interesting.

At first they can't communicate at all.

Different languages, and they look completely different.

But through scientific experiments and music.

They slowly built a way to communicate.

In the end they became very close friends.

Many viewers say that seeing their friendship.

Is the most touching part of the entire movie.

This movie stars Ryan Gosling.

His performance this time has gotten very high praise.

Some people say it's his best performance ever.

The directors are Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.

They previously directed the Spider-Man animated movie.

Their style has always been both smart and fun.

This time they made a sci-fi film that's both tense and warm.

The movie is two and a half hours.

But the pacing is good, you won't feel it's long.

The visuals are very beautiful.

The space scenes look very realistic.

The music fits perfectly too.

Some viewers said after watching it they felt.

This is a movie you can recommend to anyone.

Whether or not you normally like sci-fi.

You can go see it.

Because at its core it's about friendship and courage.

An ordinary teacher willing to sacrifice everything to save Earth.

A human and an alien.

Going beyond differences in language and species.

Becoming the closest companions.

That kind of story is hard not to be moved by.

It's still showing in cinemas.

If you haven't seen it yet, hurry up and go.

Currently the movie is still showing in cinemas.
