A small plane fell from the sky.

The plane crashed onto a street in Florida and immediately caught fire.

There were nine people on the plane, and all nine died.

There was also a car on the street, and a man in the car was injured.

The plane took off from Austin, Texas, and was headed to the Bahamas.

The day it took off was Sunday morning.

The plane flew very high, reaching 35,000 feet.

At high altitude, it was very cold outside the plane, and ice formed on the plane.

The pilot told the people on the ground that there was ice outside the plane and the wind was strong.

The plane began to rock up and down, sometimes high, sometimes low, with a difference of 700 feet.

The pilot said he wanted to fly to 37,000 feet.

But the plane could not climb.

After a while, the pilot shouted.

He said, "We are descending 10,000 feet per minute."

The plane was falling fast, and getting faster and faster.

He said again that the plane was falling even faster, 20,000 feet per minute.

The person helping the captain fly the plane was named Nathalia, and she was only 20 years old.

She said the plane was tilted 60 degrees.

She also said, "The plane will crash into the ground."

After a while, she said, "We don't have time."

About a minute after these shouts, the plane crashed.

Investigators said that as the plane was falling, it broke apart in the air.

The plane broke into many small pieces, which fell onto the street and scattered far.

Near where the plane crashed, there were ballfields and shops.

The United States has a committee that oversees transportation safety.

This committee is also investigating this matter.

People on the committee said the weather is what they most want to understand.

They also want to know what the pilot and the people on the ground said at the time.

They also want to understand what decisions these people made.

The captain flying the plane was named Jeff.

Jeff and the co-pilot both died.

There was also a businessman on the plane, who was from Texas.

He was flying on this plane with family and friends.

Near where the plane crashed, there were also houses where people lived.

For safety, about 600 people there left their homes.

Twenty people came to this street to look at the scene.

This type of plane has had accidents before.

Investigators want to see whether previous accidents have anything in common with this one.
