Yesterday, Koreans were very happy.

They were happy, so happy.

Let me tell you about it.

Yesterday, Korea played football.

Koreans love playing football.

Lots and lots of people love it.

They love watching Korea play.

Yesterday, Korea won.

Korea won!

Everyone was very happy.

Korea won the game.

Many people watched.

Some watched at home.

Some went to watch the game.

A lot of people watched.

Everyone loves Korea.

Korea won, and everyone was happy.

This day, everyone loved.

Many Koreans were all talking about Korea.

Grown-ups watched, and children watched too.

Everyone wanted to watch Korea play.

So many people watched.

They all love Korea.

Okay, let's talk about this game.

But this game was a little different.

Why was it different?

I'll tell you now.

Yesterday, the team Korea played was Czechia.

Czechia is a country too.

Two countries, playing each other.

Playing like this is called a match.

The match began.

At first, Korea didn't score.

Czechia scored first.

So at first, Korea was behind.

Zero to one.

Czechia in front, Korea behind.

Koreans were a little unhappy.

They thought: will we lose?

But Korea didn't stop playing.

Korea kept working hard.

They kept wanting to score.

Korea kept pushing forward, wanting the goal back.

Later, Korea scored a goal!

To score a goal means to kick the ball in.

The scorer was named Hwang In-beom.

One to one!

Now they were level — no one was behind.

The Koreans in the stadium grew happy again.

They all stood up and shouted loudly.

After one goal, Korea wanted more.

They played even harder.

They felt: we can win.

Later, Korea scored another goal!

This goal was scored by Oh Hyeon-gyu.

Two to one!

Korea was in front now.

Korea went from behind to in front.

Now Korea was in front, Czechia behind.

Everyone was very happy.

These two goals came at a very important time.

The match was almost over.

Czechia wanted to score again too.

They thought: two to two would be good too.

Czechia came close to scoring again.

At that point, the Koreans were all nervous.

But that goal didn't count.

Why didn't it count?

Because the scorer was in the wrong place.

He was standing too far forward.

So that goal didn't count.

The Koreans were suddenly relieved.

Korea was still two to one.

Later, Korea's goalkeeper blocked a shot too.

He blocked it very well.

So Korea didn't lose another goal.

In the end, the match was over.

Korea beat Czechia two to one.

Korea lost a goal first, then won.

This was not easy.

First behind, then in front, and finally winning.

They could do it because Korea didn't give up.

They kept trying hard.

So everyone was very happy.

Some say this kind of game is the best to watch.

Because you don't know who will win.

The Koreans sang together.

They cheered together.

This is a very good start.

Now Korea is first.

Korea has three points.

Win a match, and you get three points.

Czechia has no points.

But Czechia has other matches.

They still have a chance.

Korea's next match is against another team.

Let's watch it together, shall we?

Alright, that's all for today.

Let's say it once more.

Yesterday, Korea beat Czechia two to one.

They lost a goal first, then scored two.

Korea was behind first, then won.

Lose first, win later — really a great game to watch.

Koreans are happy, and I'm happy too.

Thank you for listening.

See you tomorrow.
