Many people wanted to watch this match.

In this match, there are two teams.

Both teams are very good at football.

Both teams want to win.

Both teams also want to play well.

Everyone wanted to watch this match.

Lots and lots of people came to watch.

The people watching were all happy.

Which of the two teams would win?

Everyone wanted to know.

Both of these teams really wanted to win.

They both wanted to play very well.

Everyone really wanted to watch them play.

There were a lot of people watching this match too.

Both teams wanted to play well.

Everyone wondered: how many goals would there be today?

Everyone really wanted to watch these two teams play.

There were a lot of people watching too.

Both teams really wanted to win.

Everyone wondered: who would win today?

Okay, now let's watch this match.

Of these two teams, one is Switzerland.

The other is Bosnia.

Both teams come from Europe.

The two teams are similar in quality.

So no one knew who would win.

Okay, the match has begun.

Both teams want to score.

"To score" means kicking the ball into the goal.

After the match began, both teams were very careful.

They both got their defending right first, slowly looking for chances.

They played for a long time, and neither team scored.

Still nil-nil, neither had scored.

The people watching were a little anxious.

The first half ended, still nil-nil.

Everyone wondered: will there be goals in the second half?

The second half began, and things were different.

Switzerland brought on a few players.

These players played especially well.

As soon as they came on, Switzerland's attack got stronger.

Before long, Switzerland scored a goal.

One to nil — Switzerland was ahead.

Switzerland's fans were all happy.

After this goal, Switzerland played better and better.

Again and again they pushed forward, wanting to score more.

Switzerland scored another goal, two to nil.

Later, Switzerland scored one more, three to nil.

Bosnia was far behind, but didn't give up.

They wanted to score too, and to chase a bit.

They scored a goal too, three to one.

Bosnia's fans were happy too.

Scoring a goal wasn't easy for them either.

But Switzerland was just too strong today.

Finally, Switzerland scored another goal, four to one.

This goal was scored by Switzerland's captain.

He's a very important player on the Switzerland team.

Four to one — Switzerland won.

In the second half, Switzerland suddenly scored a lot of goals.

The people watching were surprised, because there hadn't been a single goal in the first half.

In the end, the match finished, four to one.

Switzerland beat Bosnia, and won easily.

Switzerland's players were all very happy.

Because this was Switzerland's first win at this World Cup.

They had waited a long time for this day.

So for Switzerland, this day was very special.

Their fans were especially happy too.

Of course, although Bosnia lost, they scored a goal too.

They played quite well and didn't give up.

Even when behind, they kept fighting the whole time.

Actually, this is the fun thing about football.

No goals in the first half, but a lot of goals in the second.

No one could have imagined it would be like this.

Sometimes, a match is best at the end.

So you should watch football right to the end.

For Switzerland, this was a very good start.

For Bosnia, the tournament isn't over, and they still have a chance.

Alright, that's it for today's football match.

Switzerland beat Bosnia four to one.

Those few second-half goals really were great to watch.

Thank you for listening — see you next time.
