More than 60,000 people came to watch a football match.
That day was October 31st, in Nanjing.
The stadium was full of people; there was not a single empty seat.
So many people came to watch because this was the last match.
The team that wins this match will be this year's champion.
The teams playing are two football teams.
One is the Wuxi team, and the other is the Changzhou team.
These two cities are very close, with a big lake in between.
This competition is called the 'Su Chao'; thirteen cities in Jiangsu are taking part.
Each city has one team.
All matches are scheduled on Saturdays.
By October, only this last match remained.
People from both cities wanted to win.
The match began.
In the 28th minute, Wuxi team's number 79 scored a goal.
That ball stayed close to the grass and went in quickly.
The person standing in front of the goal didn't touch the ball.
Wuxi team led 1-0.
In the 51st minute of the second half, Wuxi team's number 9 scored again.
He headed the ball, and it flew into the goal.
This was the 12th goal number 9 has scored this year.
The person who scores the most goals this year will receive the 'Golden Boot'.
The other team was down 0-2 and hadn't scored a single goal.
All their players ran forward, wanting to score one.
In the 84th minute, their number 36 scored one.
He was beside the goal, in a very small space.
The ball still went in.
They were down 1-2.
For the remaining few minutes, all their players kept running forward.
All the Wuxi team players ran back and stood in front of their own goal.
Time was up.
Wuxi team won 2-1.
