A president must listen to the people.

The leader of a country. America has a president.
A ruler who can do anything. America does not have a king.
A road in a city. They walked to the street.
A board with words on it. They held signs.
Words everyone shouts together.
No fighting, no violence. They were peaceful.
Something you are allowed to do. Speaking is a right.
When things are equal and just. Working without pay is not fair.
Money you get for working. Some people had no wages.
Hurting people or breaking things. They did not use violence.
