无论……还是……亦或是……
Reach for this when you want to sweep across three or more possibilities and say they all lead to the same conclusion — 'whether A, B, or C…'. It's the formal, list-style version of 无论……都……, extended to a series. Used in essays and news to frame a universal claim by enumerating cases; the final clause typically pairs with 都 to deliver the shared outcome. 亦或是 is the most formal of the three (亦 is literary 'also/either'), so this whole pattern lives firmly in written register.

How to Think About It
Think of 无论 as opening a list and 都 as closing it — every item between them gets the same treatment. 还是 and 亦或是 are list separators; together they make the enumeration feel exhaustive, like the writer is checking every box before declaring the conclusion. Drop 都 from the final clause and the sweep loses its closing punch.

Common Mistake
Learners forget the 都 in the result clause, which is what makes 无论 work. 无论 needs a 都 (or 也) downstream to collect all the cases into one outcome. Without it, the list just hangs.

无论……都……
The base two-case sweep. Extend to 还是……亦或是…… when you want to list three or more parallel cases in formal writing.
不管……还是……都……
Conversational equivalent. 不管 is spoken; 无论 is written. 亦或是 only fits the written 无论 version.

Plain 'either A or B' for choices, not sweeps. 或者 lists options without committing to a shared outcome; 无论 commits to one outcome no matter the option.
