美国发生了一件很大的事情。A very big thing happened in America.
三月二十八号，星期六。March twenty-eighth, Saturday.
差不多九百万人走上了街头。About nine million people went to the streets.
他们在抗议。They were protesting.
抗议就是告诉别人你不同意。Protesting means expressing that you are not happy.
你觉得有些事情不对。Telling others you think something is wrong.
你出来说你的想法。You come out and say your thoughts.
这次抗议的名字叫No Kings。This protest is called No Kings.
翻译成中文就是没有国王。In Chinese it means no king.
为什么叫这个名字呢？Why is it called this name?
因为抗议的人觉得。Because the protesters think.
美国总统做事太像国王了。The American president acts too much like a king.
在美国，总统不是国王。In America, the president is not a king.
总统应该听人民的话。The president should listen to the people.
但是他们觉得总统不听。But they feel the president doesn't listen.
总统想做什么就做什么。The president does whatever he wants.
所以他们出来表达自己的想法。So they came out to express their thoughts.
这次抗议有多大？How big was this protest?
全美国有三千多个地方在抗议。All across America more than three thousand places were protesting.

那次大约七百万人参加。That time about seven million people joined.
这次是第三次。This is the third time.
也是最大的一次。Also the biggest one.
九百万人。Nine million people.
每次人数都比上次多。Every time more people than the last.
五百万、七百万、九百万。Five million, seven million, nine million.
这说明越来越多的人在参加。This shows more and more people are joining.
情况没有变好，反而更严重了。The situation didn't get better, it got worse.
抗议的人为什么不高兴？Why are the protesters unhappy?
主要有几个原因。There are mainly several reasons.
第一是移民问题。First is the immigration problem.
移民局的工作人员在抓人。Immigration workers are arresting people.
有时候抓的方式很暴力。Sometimes the way they arrest is very violent.
有几个人在被抓的时候死了。Several people died while being arrested.

不尊重法院的决定。Doesn't respect court decisions.
自己想做什么就做什么。Does whatever he wants.
这跟国王太像了。This is too much like a king.
所以他们说No Kings。So they say No Kings.

让很多人觉得不公平。Made many people feel it's not fair.
所以他们决定出来抗议。So they decided to come out and protest.
