What does 痛包 mean?
痛包 (tòng bāo) means ita bag / merch bag in gen-z Chinese slang. An "ita bag" — a clear-window bag covered in badges and character merch. The "pain" refers to the cost and the obsession, not physical pain. Literally, it means "pain bag".

Where 痛包 comes from
From Japanese 痛バッグ (itabag), where 痛い ("painful") described how painfully embarrassing — or expensive — the display was. Chinese fandom borrowed the characters directly.
