What does 浓人 mean?
浓人 (nóng rén) means an intense, high-energy person in gen-z Chinese slang. The high-energy half of a personality pair: enthusiastic, broad interests, competitive, full of social battery and the urge to share. A vibe label, not a diagnosis. Literally, it means "concentrated person".

Where 浓人 comes from
Coined against 淡人 in early 2024 and spread by hot searches and blogger skits. 浓 and 淡 are the words for strong and weak tea, borrowed here for people. It arrived just after MBTI fever as a homegrown answer to i人 and e人.
Related slang
The low-key half of the pair: light on emotion, ambition and socialising, hard to rattle. Worth knowing it is not the same as 社恐 — a 淡人 is not anxious, just genuinely unbothered either way.
An introvert, from the MBTI 'I' type; the opposite is e人 (extrovert). Used loosely for anyone shy or drained by socializing.
