What does 求捞 mean?
求捞 (qiú lāo) means please boost this in internet Chinese slang. A request for engagement so a post is not buried by the algorithm — "please boost this". Platform-native, so it reads oddly outside a comment section. Literally, it means "beg to be fished out".

It's been buried for days — please boost it.
Where 求捞 comes from
From 捞 ("to scoop out of water"): an unseen post has 沉 ("sunk"), so you ask to be fished back up. The metaphor only makes sense with feed ranking, which is why it stayed online-only.
