成绩 (chéngjì) is the Chinese word for a measurable result or achievement — most commonly a school grade, an exam score, or a sports/work performance result.
In everyday life, students and parents use 成绩 constantly: 考试成绩 (exam score), 学习成绩 (academic results), 成绩单 (report card). It also extends to sports (比赛成绩 race results) and adult contexts (工作成绩 work performance). Two notes for English speakers: first, 成绩 is broader than 'grade' — it covers both the number/letter mark and the underlying achievement that produced it.
Second, 成绩 carries a positive, evaluative tone — saying someone 有成绩 ('has 成绩') means they have notable achievements, not just any score. For a single raw test number, 分数 (fēnshù) is more neutral.

成就 is a major life accomplishment (career, life-work). 成绩 is more everyday — school results, work performance, sports outcomes. A student has 成绩; a Nobel winner has 成就.
