What does 那咋了 mean?
那咋了 (nà zǎ le) means so what? / and? in everyday Chinese slang. A casual, defiant "so what?" Shrugs off criticism or a supposed problem. Tone decides everything — it can be funny self-defence or genuinely rude. Literally, it means "so what then".

Where 那咋了 comes from
A northern-flavoured colloquial 咋 ("how/what") phrase that spread as a meme reply to social pressure — the spoken cousin of 躺平, aimed at people telling you how to live.
