Reach for this when you want to dissect HOW someone is speaking or positioning themselves, not just what they said. The triplet 措辞 / 立场 / 姿态 — wording, stance, posture — is the analyst's toolkit for op-ed writing, political commentary, and any time you are reading between the lines. The 的 marks possession: 'X's wording,' 'X's stance.'

How to Think About It
These three nouns sit on a ladder of abstraction. 措辞 is the surface — the literal words chosen. 立场 is the position those words encode. 姿态 is the body language of the whole posture, including what was NOT said. Editorial writers move up the ladder: 'Look at his wording — that wording reveals his stance — that stance signals his posture.' Picking the wrong rung sounds amateurish.
Examples
注意他们的措辞——"最有说服力之一"，而不是"最有说服力"。
zhùyì tāmen de cuòcí — "zuì yǒu shuōfúlì zhī yī", ér bú shì "zuì yǒu shuōfúlì".
Notice their wording — 'one of the most persuasive,' not 'the most persuasive.'

Common Mistake
Learners use 态度 (attitude) when they mean 姿态 (posture/stance you project). 态度 is internal and emotional; 姿态 is the outward performance. In editorial register, mixing them up makes the sentence read like a personal feeling instead of an analysis.

Don't Confuse With
X 的观点
观点 is the actual opinion content. Use 观点 when you are reporting WHAT they think; use 立场 when you are analyzing WHERE they stand in a debate.
X 的语气
语气 is tone of voice or sentence mood. Use 语气 in spoken-language analysis (he sounded angry); use 措辞 when the specific WORDS chosen are the evidence.
X 的态度
态度 is internal attitude. Use 态度 for personal feeling, 姿态 for public-facing positioning.
